- RMW service providers interface with the RMW VEN™ information system to provide critical and timely information. This eliminates paper and saves time.
- Server Virtualization. An aggressive investment in ‘virtual server’ technology enables the RMW computers dedicated to software to run multiple applications with the same hardware. Less hardware means fewer recycled computers at a later date and less power consumption now for computers and their required cooling.

RMW Conserves Energy By:
- Utilizing automated systems that control thermostats, lighting, and power down PCs after hours to optimize electricity savings.
- Initiating smart policies for data retention that reduce power load on servers.
- Replacing big, bulky CRT monitors with energy-efficient flat panels. The U.S. government EnergyStar program states that a flat screen uses as little as one-half the energy of a CRT.
- Printing only when necessary and avoiding color printing.
- Printing sales literature on recycled paper.
- Using document-imaging systems to eliminate paper copies.
- Recycling all unneeded paper in the offices.
- Having all supply chain providers upload documents to RMW rather than mailing hard copies.
